Tutors and institutions

Choose the right workspace and understand how teaching ownership, membership, and administration differ.

Tutor Studio

Tutor Studio is the operating workspace for an individual educator. It brings bootcamps, curriculum, learners, coupons, performance, settings, and programme editing into a focused desktop and mobile experience.

Becoming a Tutor

Teaching on Zero Club starts with a short application: your headline and experience, the subjects and levels you teach, proof such as LinkedIn or a portfolio, a sample class outline, and your availability. The Zero Club team reviews every application.

  • Approval unlocks Tutor mode and Tutor Studio.
  • If an application is not approved, the note explains what to strengthen before applying again.
  • Accounts cannot make themselves Tutors from sign-up; approval is always required.

Institution Hub

Institution Hub replaces Tutor Studio for an Institution account. It supports programme operations at organisation level, including assigned tutors, multiple bootcamps, cohorts, institutional metrics, and administration.

  • Institution navigation remains inside the standard desktop frame.
  • Back to app returns the institution to the social product.
  • Assigned tutors and authorised admins can edit and save bootcamps they manage.
  • Institution metrics must represent programme and organisational outcomes, not learner activity.

Membership plans

Learner, Creator, Tutor, and Institution are distinct pathways. Learner Premium improves learning but never unlocks permanent Club creation. Creator is the dedicated community-builder plan, while Tutor plans include their own Club capacity.

  • Learner Basic: free, 0 permanent Clubs.
  • Learner Premium: NGN 3,000/month, 0 permanent Clubs.
  • Creator: NGN 7,000/month, 3 permanent Clubs maximum.
  • Tutor Basic: free, 1 permanent Club.
  • Tutor Premium: NGN 5,000/month, 5 permanent Clubs.
  • Tutor Premium+: NGN 12,000/month, 10 permanent Clubs.
  • Institution Small: NGN 150,000/year for up to 500 learners.
  • Institution Large: NGN 400,000/year for more than 500 learners.

Continuity and the Creator first-Club benefit

Creator's first permanent Club receives six months of premium Club experience beginning on the Club creation date. The benefit is attached to that Club and can be redeemed only once, even if the Club is deleted.

  • Temporary Bootcamp Clubs never consume permanent capacity.
  • Downgrading never deletes Clubs, members, or content.
  • Expired paid plans receive a grace period before premium management tools are restricted.
  • After grace, communities remain accessible in Community Continuity Mode and restore premium capabilities on renewal.
